September was a particularly special month for us. As the month comes to an end, we look back at all the exciting things that happened this month.
Right on top, and definitely the highlight of the month, was our co-founder, Mr. Lijo Eapen’s wedding. There was much celebrating, and the wedding was an extremely grand and happy event. We wish the couple the very best for the future.

If our co-founder is getting married, you can be pretty sure there will be an equally grand cake to go with the occasion. Chef Joonie created this red and gold beauty exclusively for the wedding, one of her tallest cakes yet. Expect a detailed featured on this cake in October.
The nice people at ‘What’s Up Bangalore’ featured an article about us in their magazine, taking us back down memory lane when Chef Hong was here to conduct exclusive workshops and masterclasses. And we’re working towards getting more International Chefs to come down in the very near future.
Continuing to create a stir in the custom cake scene, Chef Joonie’s LED lit cupcake tower with Warli art got featured on the Cover Page of The Hindu’s Metro Plus. Read all about this unique cake in their article.
Being the second last month of their course, the Diplomê students spent the whole of September working hard, trying out new recipes and dessert ideas, while perfecting their skills.
Chef Vinesh, in his popular recipe section on the blog, taught patrons how to make a Vanilla Bean Pannacotta, and created this visual masterpiece.
And bringing the month to a close, we had an exciting new dessert at the Patisserie—the Pavlova, which had a light cream base, along with the goodness of fresh fruit.
Watch this space for more updates on the different events and activities happening at Lavonne. We promise October is going to be even more exciting!
